Shorter but Sweet

By SMC Taylor

It’s so important to fit in your exercise even when you are short of time.  Less is better than none!  Today I was able to fit in 3 miles of running with just a little backwards walking.  I find that I have to do at least some backwards walking as my hamstring is not completely healed.  Running, then add some backwards walking keeps my hamstring from becoming too painful to run.  Today I actually added a little running backwards, that is a little more challenging but something I want to work towards.  It was a beautiful morning as it was earlier than my usual time.  Listening to all the birds chirping as they wake up their friends is priceless.  So, remember, consistency is key to keeping yourself in shape or to continue to lose weight and tone (my intention). Just because  you may not have a lot of time to exercise, do something!  Fit in some jumping jacks, squats, push ups, something!  Anything is better than nothing!  Happy Wednesday!
