Chugging Along Is Better Than Not Chugging At All!

By SMC Taylor

Took a 2 day break from running to make sure my muscles had time to heal.  I like to start out slow, it prevents injuries and insures I can keep exercising!  I ran quite a lot of my 4 miles today, but I don’t think it was as much as 2 days ago. That’s okay, it’s better not to push too hard in the beginning.

There are too many peeps out there that start up their exercise again, go full force and then have pain. I would rather ease into it and then do more as time goes on. This method works well for me.

It was a warm morning so having water available was a must.  Always remember to hydrate while you are exercising. You don’t want to chug it down, but keep taking gulps as you go along.  Sometimes just swishing the liquid in your mouth is good to do too.

Now my mind and body are ready for all I need to tackle!  Exercising makes me smile, try it and you will smile too. Especially when you are done!
